Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

“We”, “our” or “Hexapod” refers to Hexapod Roofing Sdn Bhd (Company No. 202401029384 / 1568432-V). “You” or “the Client” refers to the individual or legal entity using this website or commissioning services. “Site” refers to hexapod.pro.

2. Use of this website

By browsing or submitting any form on this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have legal authority to enter into a contract. The content of this Site is provided for general information only and does not constitute a binding offer of services until a written quotation has been issued by Hexapod and accepted in writing by you.

3. Quotations and contract formation

Quotations issued by Hexapod are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. A binding contract is formed only when you sign and return a Hexapod quotation, or pay the agreed deposit.

Variations to the agreed scope require a written change order signed by both parties before the additional work commences.

4. Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Repairs under RM 3,000: full payment on completion
• Projects between RM 3,000 and RM 30,000: 30 % deposit, 70 % on completion
• Projects above RM 30,000: 30 % deposit, 40 % at material delivery, 30 % on completion

Accepted payment methods are bank transfer, DuitNow QR or company cheque. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5 % per month from the due date until cleared.

5. Workmanship warranty

Hexapod provides written workmanship warranties as follows:

• Roof repairs: 24 months on the repaired area
• Roof restoration: 5 years on coating adhesion and pointing integrity
• Full roof replacement: 10 years on installation workmanship
• Gutter maintenance: 30 days on cleared blockages

Warranties cover failures attributable to installation workmanship. They do not cover damage from extreme weather events (defined as wind speeds above 75 km/h or hailstones above 20 mm), third-party interference, structural movement of the building, or product defects covered by the relevant manufacturer warranty.

6. Manufacturer warranties

All roofing materials we supply carry manufacturer warranties from their respective producers. Copies of these warranties are provided with the completion paperwork. Claims under manufacturer warranties are made through Hexapod on your behalf.

7. Site access and safety

The Client warrants that they have authority to grant Hexapod access to the property and undertakes to make safe-access arrangements where reasonable. Hexapod retains responsibility for site safety during the works and maintains RM 5 million public liability cover.

8. Force majeure

Neither party will be liable for delay or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, government-imposed restrictions, material supply chain failures or industrial action. Delays of more than 30 consecutive days entitle either party to terminate the contract with payment for works completed to date.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — text, photography, layout and code — is the property of Hexapod Roofing Sdn Bhd or its licensors. Reproduction for commercial purposes without written consent is prohibited.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Hexapod’s aggregate liability for any claim arising under or in connection with a contract shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client under that contract. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Governing law

These terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
